Terms of Use

Please read these terms carefully before using our educational platform, booking tuition, or accessing our recorded library

Legal & Compliance

Last Updated: September 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you", "parent", "guardian") and Grade Rise Tuition Ltd ("we", "us", or "our"), concerning your access to and use of our website, parent portal, live virtual classrooms, and recorded lesson libraries.

By registering for an account, booking a trial, or enrolling in any of our tuition programmes (Primary, 11+, KS3, or GCSE), you agree that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms of Use.

Cancellations & Rescheduling

For 1-to-1 tuition, a minimum of 24 hours' notice is required to reschedule without penalty. Group class absences cannot be refunded, but students can access the recorded session in the vault.

Payments & Subscriptions

Tuition fees are billed monthly or termly in advance. Access to the Parent Portal and Recorded Vault requires an active, paid account in good standing.

Student Safeguarding

All live sessions are recorded strictly for safeguarding and revision purposes. Parents agree to ensure students learn in an appropriate, quiet environment.

Intellectual Property

Our mock exams, PDFs, and video lessons are Grade Rise's intellectual property. They are for your child's personal academic use and may not be distributed or sold.

2. Account Registration & Security

To access certain features of the platform, including the Parent Portal and Recorded Vault, you may be required to register for an account. You agree to keep your password confidential and will be responsible for all use of your account and password. We reserve the right to remove, reclaim, or change a username you select if we determine that such username is inappropriate.

3. Provision of Educational Services

Grade Rise Tuition Ltd strives to provide the highest standard of academic support aligned with UK examination boards (AQA, Edexcel, OCR, GL, ISEB). However, we do not guarantee specific grades or examination outcomes. Academic success relies heavily on the student's independent study, school attendance, and completion of assigned homework.

  • Live Classes: Group classes are capped at a maximum of 6 students. We reserve the right to merge or cancel cohorts if minimum enrolment thresholds are not met, providing a pro-rata refund or alternative class.
  • Doubt-Solving Sessions: Fair usage policies apply to drop-in clinics to ensure all students receive equal attention from the tutor.

4. Student Conduct

We expect all students to behave respectfully towards our tutors and their peers. Disruption of live classes, inappropriate language, or bullying will not be tolerated. We reserve the right to immediately suspend or terminate a student's access to live classes without a refund if their behaviour violates our Code of Conduct.

5. Payments, Renewals & Refunds

All tuition fees must be paid in advance via our secure payment gateway. By providing a payment method, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees on a recurring monthly or termly basis until cancelled.

  • Free Trials: If you book a free diagnostic trial, you will not be charged. Subsequent enrolment requires formal confirmation and payment.
  • Refunds: Unused 1-to-1 credits may be refunded if requested within 14 days of purchase. Termly group class subscriptions are non-refundable once the term has commenced, as your child's seat prevents another student from joining the cohort.

6. Modifications and Interruptions

We cannot guarantee the platform will be available at all times. We may experience hardware, software, or other technical problems resulting in interruptions, delays, or errors. In the event a live class is cancelled due to technical failure on our end or tutor illness, a make-up session or full credit will be provided.
